As the name suggests, a pilgrimage differs from a retreat. That’s because a pilgrimage is so much more, it is a spiritually transformative experience. For me, it refers to both a physical and spiritual journey in which you embark, to form a deeper connection and understanding of self. This sacred Peru pilgrimage will take us to Machu Picchu and some of the most powerful energetic portals in the Andean Mountains. We will be approaching each sacred site with great reverence, often finding a place to sit and connect in sacred ceremony. We will be giving offerings (traditional Andean despacho) to receive the wisdom of the ancient mountains and the ancestors of these lands. You will have the option to journey with Wachuma a plant medicine known as (San Pedro), this sacred plant acts as the bridge between the heart and mind. It is a stoic and wise plant that slows the thinking mind and brings your heart back to stillness and deep presence, allowing you to witness the spiritual interconnectedness of all beings.
This journey will be packed with adventure as you hike through the most wild, magical and exceptionally beautiful landscapes, exploring waterfalls, forests, glens and valleys. Throughout our Peru pilgrimage, I will share guided sessions to help you activate your highest expression, accessing deeper insight and inspiration through awakening consciousness.

The Path to Prayer Pilgrimage
The path of Prayer pilgrimage is about becoming more attuned to your own innate gifts and sharing them with the world, to listen deeply to yourself and to the needs of the mother earth. To activate and amplify our own, and the earths vibration through prayer and connection.
This is the perfect experience for you, if you are looking to deepen your relationship with self and spirit, to activate your creative and intuitive mind and to heal and restore mind, body and spirit. This experience will awaken your consciousness and help you to harness your innate wisdom so that you can live your best possible life.
Day 1: Opening ceremony & Q’ero blessing
Day 1 takes you straight into the sacredness of this journey. Through our opening ceremony at a sacred site in Cusco guided by our Q’ero (traditional Andean Shaman), you will introduce yourself to the ancestors of these sacred lands, the Apus (sacred mountains), the ancient medicines, and guardians of the Peruvian Andes. Here you will receive a traditional blessing from a Q’ero (Andean Wisdom Keeper). After lunch, we travel by private bus to Ollantaytambo, deep in the Sacred Valley where we will stay overnight to prepare for the journey ahead.
Day 2: Inca trail
Prepare to set off in the early morning on an incredible scenic train ride through the sacred valley. At train station kilometre 104, you will disembark and trek the one-day Inca trail to Machu Picchu. Following in the footsteps of the ancient chaski’s, you will have the opportunity to immerse in the ancient ruins and waterfalls as you hike through the cloud forest. Finally, you arrive at the Sun Gate where you see your first mesmerising view of Macchu Picchu. Later, we will enjoy dinner and explore the majestic town of Aguas Calientes.
Day 3: Machu Picchu & Moon Cave Temple
Arrive by bus to Machu Picchu for a full exploration of this ancient wonder of the world. This is a place of powerful energies, where you will feel the magic in the air. Then we descend into the powerful Moon Cave behind Machu Picchu. This is an ancient temple used for prayer and offering, and we will have the opportunity to sit in meditation and connect with the ancestors of these sacred lands and the Andean ancestors who have been using this space for centuries. After a nourishing lunch in the town of Aguas Calientes, it’s time to head back to Cusco where you have a private room in preparation for the ceremony the next day.
Day 4: Optional Wachuma ceremony (San Pedro)
Grandfather Wachuma, also known as San Pedro, is one of the most powerful medicine teachers. It has been used as a sacred medicine in the Andes for at least 3000 years. Known as a medicine of the heart, Grandfather can open you up to incredible realms of awareness, healing and/or activation. He always shares what is for your highest good. Grandfather is a much gentler guide than the Grandmother medicine. Wachuma holds you more grounded, allowing you to be more present in your body so it is easier to gain clarity and allow you to embody the insights you receive. The ceremony is offered by a beautiful Wachumera with over 20 years experience. After a delicious home-cooked meal and time by the fire, it’s back to your private room in Cusco so you can integrate in peace. This is an optional ceremony and those who prefer can spend a free day exploring Cusco city instead.
Day 5: Private shuttle to the sacred mountain and temple of Huchuy Qosqo
Enjoy a slow start to the day with a sleep in before we embark on a transfer to the majestic mountains of Huchuy Qosqo. This special site pre-dates the incas and boasts incredible panoramic views of the sacred valley below. We will journey up into the mountains and have an opportunity to connect with the ancient energies there. We will camp overnight on private lands immersed in the energies of the sacred temples around surrounding us.
Day 6: Apu Ausangate
We rise early for a private transfer and take a short hike to one of the most sacred and powerful mountains in the Cusco region - Apu Ausangate. This mountain holds a powerful masculine energy and is known as the Grandfather and Guardian of all of Cusco. Not only is he a powerful guide and wisdom keeper, but he is also incredibly supportive of you fulfilling your greatest potential. It is a sacred place where Shaman’s come to be initiated. After breakfast, we hike to the base of the mountain. This is a powerful journey because the land itself is medicine. Ausangate often shares so much along this hike. Once at our destination, we will sit in a traditional Peruvian despacho ceremony with a local Paqo. We will be camping overnight, surrounded by the snowcapped Apu Ausangate.
Day 7: Hike to hot springs with traditional lunch
We begin our day with an incredible meal made by our local Quechuan cooks before hiking to the hot springs, where we will enjoy some down time in the natural thermal waters with an incredible view of Apu Ausengate. We will have a traditional lunch prepared for us in the town of Pacchanta. Once our bellies are full and nourished, we journey back to Cusco for a relaxing night in our comfy room of the hotel.
Day 8: Private transfer to Lake Titicaca the sacral chakra of the World
Today we rise early and board our private transfer to Lake Titicaca, the Sacral Chakra of the world. There is a belief that swimming in these waters helps fuel creativity. The sacral chakra channels creative energy. Along the way, we will stop off at an incredibly special temple before arriving to Puno. Here, we will have a private boat waiting for us to take us to the Island of Pachamama and Pachatata, where we will camp out and spend the night.
Day 9: Hike to the temples of Pachamama and Pachatata
We will rise to greet the sun and have an opportunity to connect with, and seed our prayers at the ancient temples of Pachamama and Pachatata. These sites were considered, and still are today as powerful portals surrounded by the beautiful waters of the highest known lake in the world. We then hop back aboard our boat which will take us back to Puno where you will have an opportunity to explore the town, have dinner at the restaurant of your choosing, before sleeping the night away in hotel accommodation
Day 10: Closing Ceremony at the Amuru Muru portal
Today is an early start. We will board our bus before the sun rises in order to get out to this well-known site in time for sunrise. We will have free time to explore and make offerings, before coming together in prayer and gratitude for the journey that has been.
Once we close the circle on the container, the bus will transport us back to Cusco. For those that have booked their flight from Puno to Lima, the bus will take you to the airport before continuing the journey back to Cusco City. Those that travel back to Cusco will be transported to their hotels and you are free to continue your stay in Peru or make your way back to your home destination the following day as we will arrive back to Cusco in the late evening.

Now he is dedicated to showing visitors the true magic and wisdom of his lands. He has a deep connection with the Apus, the ancestors and sacred sites. And he uses his position to bring meaningful work to locals in the communities, as well as helping in many community projects.
